Yommi Rush Slot Real Money Review – Bonuses, RTP and How to Play

Introduction to Yommi Rush

Yommi Rush is a casino slot game developed by BGaming in collaboration with PoggiPlay, a studio known for creating modern video slots. This partnership has introduced a charming character named Yommi, a friendly creature that finds its home in small spaces within houses. Yommi enjoys playing with cardboard, crafting miniature furniture, and has an unending love for jelly candies. In the game, Yommi rearranges these treats on an 8×8 grid in its cozy apartment, helping players achieve wins of up to 2,000x their bet. Occasionally, it will assist by substituting for other symbols and providing multipliers. As Yommi jumps between candies, it gains power with each winning cluster, remaining by your side during free spins.

The entrance to Yommi’s delightful cardboard world is available to all players through a demo version at the top of the article.

Theme, Gameplay & Payouts

Yommi Rush features 8 reels, 8 rows, and a cluster-pays win system, where players earn rewards for connecting 7 or more matching symbols. Players can select their stake from a range starting with a minimum bet of 0.20 and going up to a maximum bet of 25. The game offers a default RTP of 96.32%, aligning with industry standards, and has a medium volatility, which provides a balanced frequency and magnitude of wins. The highest possible win in a single round is 2,000x the bet, with a base hit frequency of 26.73% and a bonus round that can be triggered on average every 1 in 166.7 spins.

In this whimsical world inhabited by the little green creature, players engage in gameplay from a top-down perspective, observing its unique decorations fashioned from cardboard and tape. The space is filled with cozy amenities such as a couch, a flat-screen TV, a game controller, some plants, a cupboard, and even a fridge. Central to the area is a large playing grid holding 64 vibrant candies. To the left, a gift-wrapped box labeled “Buy Bonus” invites players to choose from various Feature Buy options. Yommi Rush is accessible on any modern device, including desktops, smartphones, and tablets.

The paytable contains regular symbols that create wins through clusters of 7 matching symbols touching each other. Low-paying symbols feature jellies in various colors, including blue, green, pink, and purple, rewarding between 100x and 130x the bet for clusters of 25 or more. High-paying symbols consist of candies shaped like a red heart, a yellow star, and a round one with a swirling red-yellow pattern, offering payouts between 150x to 200x the bet for sets of 25 or more. The character Yommi serves as both a Wild and a Scatter.

Special Features & Slot Mechanics

What is the maximum win in the Yommi Rush slot?

The maximum win you can achieve is 2,000x the bet.

What features are available in the Yommi Rush slot?

The game includes Cascading, Yommi Symbol, Bonus Game, and Feature Buy.

Cascading

After a win is created, any symbols that contributed will be cleared from the grid. New symbols will fill the empty spaces to potentially form additional winning clusters. This process continues until no new wins can be generated.

Yommi Symbol

The Yommi symbol acts as a Wild with a default multiplier of x1. Every time Yommi substitutes for a regular symbol in a winning cluster, its multiplier increases by 1, and it jumps to a random adjacent position before new symbols appear. Yommi can continue to grow its multiplier indefinitely throughout the same round, remaining with the winning combinations until the next spin begins. If multiple Yommies (up to 4 maximum) contribute to the same win, their multipliers are combined before being applied to the payout.

Bonus Game

When 3 or more Yommies land on the grid simultaneously, players will receive 12 free spins. During this round, the Yommies stay persistent between spins, and their multipliers do not reset until the bonus round concludes.

Feature Buy

For those eager to enhance their chances of triggering the bonus round or to activate it instantly, the Feature Buy option is available.

3x = Yommi Boost, offering increased chances of landing Yommi symbols and thereby a higher likelihood of triggering the Bonus Game.

100x = Bonus Game starting with 12 free spins and 3 Yommies.

250x = Bonus Game starting with 12 free spins and 4 Yommies.

Final Thoughts on Yommi Rush

The online slots industry has seen a myriad of adorable monsters adorning the reels, with several quirky examples such as Reactoonz from Play’n GO, Space Miners by Relax Gaming, and Monster Superlanche from Pragmatic Play. Yommi Rush follows a similar trend, introducing a unique new character that appears to inhabit small spaces within human homes, adorning them with miniature cardboard furnishings and collecting sweets along the way. This fresh approach distinguishes Yommi from the more common space aliens featured in many games. The well-designed environment reflects Yommi’s character traits, showcasing a tiny apartment filled with paper-crafted items and a large grid brimming with colorful candy. The game benefits from smooth animations and an enchanting soundtrack.

A deeper inspection reveals that Yommi Rush incorporates mechanics inspired by Push Gaming’s hit release, Jammin’ Jars. In the base game, players aim to see Yommi appear in clusters to create or enhance winning combinations, maximizing payouts with its rising multiplier. Once three or more Yommies appear on the screen, players carry them to the free spins, where they remain active on the grid throughout the bonus. Their multipliers also remain intact, paving the way for significant wins, especially when multiple Yommies form part of the same cluster. While the framework may bear resemblance to Push’s popular slot, it does not quite match it in terms of statistics. Notably, players need at least 7 instances in a cluster to score a win instead of the 5 in Jammin’ Jars, and the maximum win caps at 2,000x, significantly lower than the 20,000x available in Jars. However, Yommi Rush’s medium volatility caters to those seeking a balanced experience between the size and frequency of wins. If this is a characteristic you value in slot games, keep an eye out for the green, furry creature the next time you visit your favorite casino.
